Biography
The story behind the creator
Julius Nzang founded DaKreator38 Studios to build what he could not find: a house where African and global story could meet a new camera without surrendering craft.
Before the new camera, there was a booth in Buea. From 2011 to 2017 Julius served as Local Counterpart to the Peace Project of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon. There he created EYOLE The Wind of Peace for CBS Radio 93.5 FM, and wrote and directed OGORUM — three seasons of radio saga, performed by human voice actors, aired as education in peacebuilding. The studio did not begin with generation. It began with voices.
He works as a director first. The slate — Kings and Queens, Céline's Diary, The Ship That Came Too Late — is rooted in Cameroonian memory and framed with the discipline of classical cinema. AI is the instrument. The score is still human. So is the booth.
His mission is to empower creators to transform imagination into cinematic reality: not by collecting prompts, but by learning to direct. That mission lives in the films, the masterclass, the page, and the stage.
